I don't understand why more people have not seen this. I am new to being in a chair. and Brittney has helped me learn to deal with it so much. So much information on her Channel. Oh, I remember my accent I wish I could forget my accident, so many nightmares. And mine was the dumbest way you could have an accident.

What if the power goes out? I saw one video where someone was on a lift to get into a car...and the lift broke from it raining. He was up in the air for good half hour getting soaked. I saw a video where a quadriplegic had a ramp installed to get around technology.

An observation ... the cabinet in the prep area should have gone on the right hand side. As it is you are forced to roll under the right hand side and the work space in encroached by the coffee maker. If the cabinet was on the right instead ... you could still have the coffee maker there but it wouldn't encroach on your work space.

Before you buy one of these, look at the Winnebago Roam or any Ram Promaster Handicap van with the Braun Under the Floor Lift. The Lift is under the vehicle so it does not block the door for people NOT in a wheelchair.

I was in a fatal car crash that killed my husband and left me badly injured and had to have hip/pelvic surgery, knee in a brace healing because it's also broken. I was left with 3 kids 6, 5 and 1. My two eldest are autistic, and the people helping me are slowly leaving me. Leaving me to care for my 3 children alone in a wheelchair 🦽 and a walker. I am SOOO scared! I am glad at least some people thought of terrified parents in wheelchairs.

Hi Kevin…thank you for your video you’ve given me the inspiration I needed! I taught myself alto sax when I was about 46….so w0 years ago and played at home, just for my own pleasure playing along with CDs. Then life and work got in the way and I want to go back to it , but I’ve got a degree of disability which means I know I can’t stand to play now . I googled whether it’s ok to play sitting down….and just found negative info. But today I found you…..so YES it is possible to play sitting down. Thank you for putting yourself out there….very much appreciated. By the way…I’m in a little village in England and I’m a lady of 66. Wish you lived close I’d ask you for lessons

My husband used to use Papavarina, but we decided it was not necessary using that once he wasn't going to feel any pleasure doing that, so we just used to try to find out where is the pleasure on the area he has sensibility, theoretically thinking that the body changed the pleasure to an area that he can feel (his chest underline), as everybody is unique, we had no manual, so make our own research, it was not 100%, but was some fun. I speak was was was, because now with excruciating back pain that's not so funny to him.

  • @LuliBrazil

Before meeting me, my husband didn't know when he is let out lots of gas it's time to go to toilet. I had a brother with Progressive Duchene Muscular Dystrophy, I know it's different of my husband because he was able to feel, but I learnt it with him, when the body starts let out stinky gas the time is close. I also learnt to make clock massages on his belly to help the gas to come out and I do it on my husband too.

I thought my husband was having problems with stabilization of his back because now, after 31 years on wheelchair, his back is terribly hurting. I gave him my medicine for back inflammation, Naproxen, now I see in the end giving Naproxen was a good decision, because the opioids make him worse, he has alucination and stress, heart speeding and fecaloma (severe constipation, also called fecalith, fecolith and coprolith, stone made of feces)
